About the Role

The HSE Advisor is a critical role at Trouw Nutrition, responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our HSE management system, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to stay informed on HSE trends and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, including leading and lagging indicators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, safety engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in HSE, with a strong background in risk management and compliance.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE programs and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
