Job Summary

We're seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Quality Director to lead our Consumer Health Division's Quality team in the LATAM region. As a key member of our global Quality leadership team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the compliance, performance, and ongoing product supply of our manufacturing sites and Contract Manufacturing organizations (CMOs) in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Divisional and Regional Quality strategy and plan for the LATAM region.
  • Ensure compliance to GMP, regulatory, and internal Bayer standards and quality performance of large sites.
  • Lead a large Quality team (approx. 300 people) responsible for internal manufacturing and CMO management.
  • Provide quality performance of 3 critical internal manufacturing sites and over 20 external CMOs with a wide range of product dosage forms and regulatory classifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve quality performance.
  • Develop and implement quality initiatives to drive continuous improvement and performance.
  • Manage and stakeholder align a significant annual budget for Quality across the teams and sites within the region.
  • Review and stakeholder align the regional Quality investment plan to drive compliance to regulations and the continuous improvement of Quality standards and performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quality leadership roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex cultural and regulatory landscapes.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing large teams and budgets.
