Job Description:

a Senior Director, Delivery role is being offered at Thomson Reuters. The position requires a senior delivery professional with experience in leading teams and managing complex projects. Key responsibilities include defining strategy, leading and managing teams, customer relationship management, process improvement, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget and will be able to think strategically about the delivery of products and services.

Responsibilities:
• Define the strategic direction for delivery operations, including setting long-term goals and identifying opportunities for growth or improvement.
• Establish a delivery model that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
• Lead and manage teams responsible for the delivery of products or services, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal product teams and stakeholders.
• Continuously assess and improve delivery processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including internal product customers, team members, and senior management.

About You:
• Education: A bachelor's degree in business, management, computer science, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree, such as an MBA, is a plus.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in project management, program management, or a related field, including experience in a leadership role overseeing large teams and complex projects.
• Management Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and to translate strategic goals into actionable plans.
• Program / Project Management: Coordinate management of multiple projects, align and optimize resources, manage stakeholders, and ensure that projects contribute toward the overall business goals and objectives.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in identifying problems, analyzing potential solutions, and making decisions that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
• Technical Skills: An understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodology.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other industry-specific certifications can be advantageous.
