Senior Sales Director for Latin America Markets

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. As a key member of our S&P Global team, you will be responsible for expanding our client base and driving revenue growth across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a comprehensive sales strategy to grow our portfolio in the region
  • Identify upsell opportunities through data-driven insights and strategic planning
  • Manage all commercial aspects of our relationships with issuers in the covered countries
  • Leverage your expertise in communication and negotiation to optimize revenue and gain user acceptance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, including project sponsors and intermediaries
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Partner with marketing teams to curate and manage marketing collateral
  • Analyze market trends and provide valuable insights to senior management

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of sales experience in the finance industry, specifically in capital markets and rating products
  • Proven track record of sales success and ability to drive revenue growth
  • Advanced proficiency in English communication skills (reading, speaking, and writing)
  • Microsoft Office (advanced skills)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
