Job Summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a skilled Commodity Management Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain Management team, you will be responsible for maintaining global or regional responsibility for strategic and/or high-dollar commodities, developing and implementing procurement strategies, and acting as the primary interface with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for commodities, including competitive analysis, supplier selection, and pricing strategy.
  • Act as the primary interface with suppliers, managing relationships, contract negotiations, and performance reviews.
  • Source products and services, maintaining a continuity of supply while delivering the lowest cost component or service solution.
  • Lead negotiation teams and provide site direction and performance reporting for cost analysis.
  • Assist in team development and planning, recruitment, and training.
  • Manage the Global Commodity Negotiation process, ensuring accurate forecasting and pricing accuracy.
  • Conduct strategic analysis on pricing, market trends, suppliers, customers, competitors, contracts, and long-term agreements.
Requirements
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
