Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our culinary team at JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa. As a key member of our food preparation team, you will be responsible for preparing breads and pastries, including preparing doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare breads and pastries according to recipes and quality standards
  • Review production sheets to understand daily baked goods requirements
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or pastry production environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and quality standards
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
