Operations and Maintenance Engineer

KioSoft Technologies LLC is a leading provider of custom solutions for the Commercial Laundry, Vending, and other unattended Payment Industries. We are seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Mexico City.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our software products and servers in North America.
  • Manage the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Linux systems.
  • Analyze performance data and logs to drive system performance improvements.
  • Conduct daily monitoring and data processing tasks for Linux operating systems.
  • Provide emergency support outside of regular working hours to ensure high system availability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a computer-related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, with a focus on customer service, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with mainstream operating systems, including Linux and Windows.
  • Proficiency in databases like MySQL and Redis, with the ability to install and resolve issues independently.
  • Experience with middleware such as Nginx, Redis, Tomcat, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with Docker containers and proficiency in using common commands to manage containers.
  • Knowledge of operational monitoring tools, including Prometheus configuration and usage.
  • Basic understanding of public cloud and private cloud operations, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.
  • Strong team collaboration skills, quick learning ability, and ability to handle high work pressure.
  • Fluent spoken English with good communication skills.
