About the Role:

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Technical & Design Promotion Specialist to join our team at ABB Schweiz AG. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our building automation products and solutions to target end-users, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies, and consulting engineering firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve key targets for ABB products
  • Liaise with consultants, system integrators, maintenance advocates, technical sales, and other project stakeholders to promote ABB products
  • Represent ABB products and solutions in technical, architectural, and business-related discussions with customers
  • Maintain and share knowledge of customer applications and provide technical support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and key accounts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5-8 years of field sales/technical experience with electrical products
  • Experience in building automation and communication and control networks in buildings (KNX preferably, but Modbus, Bacnet, Lonworks, Ethernet LAN/WAN)
  • Technical knowledge of electrical interconnection systems and applications
  • Experience working with relevant Codes and Standards, Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Demonstrated strong verbal/written and presentation skills to all levels in an organization
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving, selling, and negotiation skills
  • English Advanced-Intermediate level
