Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Support Coordinator to join our team at AIG. As a Claims Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our claims operations team in the Latin American region.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage claims documents, including assigning new claims or activities to our team's Adjusters for processing.
- Communicate regularly with customers and third parties to assess and take decisions on the evidence of their claims.
- Perform various basic claim activities, such as maintaining assignation databases and uploading documents to the system.
- Process payments to insured parties.
Requirements
- Experience in insurance operations, claims, or a related field (training will be provided).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to determine priorities and make decisions.
- Strong administrative skills and basic computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
- Lots of enthusiasm and a desire to learn.
