Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at SHIMIZU NORTH AMERICA LLC (MEXICO Branch). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, providing technical advice, and ensuring projects are completed according to the master schedule and scope of works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily progress and report to the Superintendent/Project Manager, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with general policies and legal requirements, meeting design requirements for studies and preliminary construction permits.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Project Manager and/or the Project Manager in the planning and execution of all constructive processes.
  • Confirm progress work done from subcontractors for payment purposes, reviewing contractual terms.
  • Assist and coordinate working meetings with subcontractors, document agreements, and prepare minutes within the next 24 hours.
  • Execute observations received on quality inspection visits within 24 hours and complete before 7 days.
  • Prepare reports and EMTs required on time, following up on indications and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Ability to commute/relocate to the designated area.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 3 years as a Construction Site Engineer.
  • Language: English spoken 80%.
  • License/Certification: MS Project, CAD, basic Revit, and EMTs knowledge.
