The Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager will be responsible for leading the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Body in White Feasibility team, overseeing the development of Design to Manufacturing proposals to optimize Capex and support future Plant Loading studies. This role will also involve developing and leading Vertical Integration for Make/Buy alignment, creating detailed Process Maps with Station level Welds and Adhesive quantities, and ensuring Feasibility studies are performed in the Plant Environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Design to Manufacturing proposals to optimize Capex and support future Plant Loading studies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Vertical Integration for Make/Buy alignment.
  • Create detailed Process Maps with Station level Welds and Adhesive quantities.
  • Ensure Feasibility studies are performed in the Plant Environment.
  • Lead Change Management meetings to ensure product process and tooling are aligned.
  • Manage Body Shop KPI'S.
  • Develop high visibility weekly updates to Stellantis management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive manufacturing feasibility and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience with knowledge of manufacturing and plant operations.
  • Strong knowledge of BIW manufacturing processes and tooling.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong organizational/project management skills.
  • Knowledge of DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly).
  • Self-motivated and able to successfully achieve results under time pressure.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management while establishing and maintaining lines of communication.
  • Superior teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to work remotely (WFH).
