Job Summary
Citi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial and Business Sales division, you will be responsible for deepening relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to deepen client relationships and increase share of wallet
- Work closely with Case Managers to onboard and retain clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities to drive business growth
- Provide exceptional client experience by sharing market updates, trends, and intelligence
- Drive innovation in solutions and develop new business opportunities
- Network with clients to identify new business opportunities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and processes
- Demonstrated ability to structure complex deals and provide sound financial advice
- Advanced credit skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
- Proactive approach to strengthening business relationships and delivering exceptional client experiences
Education
- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
- Relevant industry knowledge and experience
