Job Summary

Citi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial and Business Sales division, you will be responsible for deepening relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to deepen client relationships and increase share of wallet
  • Work closely with Case Managers to onboard and retain clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities to drive business growth
  • Provide exceptional client experience by sharing market updates, trends, and intelligence
  • Drive innovation in solutions and develop new business opportunities
  • Network with clients to identify new business opportunities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to structure complex deals and provide sound financial advice
  • Advanced credit skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
  • Proactive approach to strengthening business relationships and delivering exceptional client experiences

Education

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
  • Relevant industry knowledge and experience
