As an Airport Security Program Manager at American Airlines, you will be responsible for ensuring the station level security program requirements are met as required by AA and government regulatory requirements.

This involves establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with station operational leaders and security agents, supporting daily operations of insourced and outsourced LSAs/SOCs, and serving as the first point of contact for operational security incidents.

You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with government agencies and law enforcement on the station level, ensuring international security program requirements are being met on a day-to-day basis, and providing tactical support and guidance to station leaders and contractors.

In addition, you will conduct internal investigations relating to customer misconduct, compliance concerns, and team member misconduct, conduct crew hotel and transportation security assessments, and conduct regular audits of airport security programs.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location. If you have a strong understanding of aviation security concepts from an airline, airport, regulator, and/or law enforcement perspective, organizational and project management skills, strong communication skills, leadership skills, and ability to work under pressure, we encourage you to apply.
