About the Role:

As a Sales and Business Development Specialist at Brown-Forman, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and developing strong relationships with key accounts in the on-premise channel. Your expertise in market analysis and negotiation will be invaluable in executing innovative initiatives and activities that propel the deployment of our Ready To Drink brands.

Responsibilities:


  1. Develop and execute a weekly work plan, including a visit plan uploaded to the Salesforce platform;
  2. Identify and prospect target accounts for Ready To Drink's;
  3. Develop negotiation strategies to win over and categorize the Ready To Drinks;
  4. Detect opportunity areas in the channel and open new relevant accounts for our Ready To Drink;
  5. Ensure appropriate distribution and prominence of the Brown-Forman Mexico brands in key Ready To Drink venues;
  6. Manage relationships between the venues and the authorized supplier (wholesaler/distributor), including activation and promotional efforts;
  7. Maintain close business relationships with key players in each account, including owners, partners, crews, bartenders, etc.;
  8. Follow up on agreements established with their accounts and ensure proper execution of each agreement;
  9. Introduce key members of the Brown-Forman Mexico team to foster development of partnerships as needed, while continually seeking opportunities for business expansion;
  10. Collaborate with the trade marketing team to enhance brand visibility;
  11. Create and execute brand experiences and activities that promote brand testing and encourage repeat purchases;
  12. Deliver training to staff, account owners, and consumers through tastings, presentations, and more;
  13. Effectively execute, manage, and assess incentive plans for staff and account owners;
  14. Ensure accurate implementation of our brand pricing strategy in each account;
  15. Efficiently plan and oversee the company's budget and resources;
  16. Regularly update account information in the Salesforce system;
  17. Monitor and report on activities as well as the competition;
  18. Manage and administer benefits, including tickets, and more;
  19. Collaborate with the Revenue Growth Management team to determine optimal pricing and activities for each venue;

Requirements:


  1. Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business, Communication, PR, and related;
  2. 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position or in roles related to the commercial or marketing field, with a track record of establishing and maintaining strategic relationships;
  3. Familiarity with market analysis platforms such as Nielsen, ISCAM, and others;
  4. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
  5. Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing information;
  6. Proactive, self-motivated, and highly initiative-driven;
  7. Strong organizational abilities with a talent for effective time and resource management;
  8. Valid driver's license;
