About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Basis Consultant to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our Enterprise Cloud Services organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the 24x7 availability of SAP systems running in SAP ECS Respond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond, troubleshoot, and resolve alerts and incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Act as an escalation point for productive issues on LLD Level (Last Line of Defense).
  • Follow change management processes during service request execution.
  • Seek opportunities to streamline standard operating procedures through automation.
  • Operate effectively in a global 24x7 international team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technologies Management.
  • Solid know-how on SAP Technologies, with SAP NetWeaver certification highly beneficial.
  • Experience in at least one non-NetWeaver technology, such as BOBJ, SAP Mobile, Convergent Charging, OpenText, HANA XSA, etc.
  • Strong capabilities in technical documentation.
  • Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent and proactive way.
  • Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Very good communication and networking skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Very good English language skills.
