About the Role

Lixil Water Technology Americas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units to discuss goals, objectives, and challenges.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to line management, including interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies that drive business results.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of US and MX legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conducting thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provide guidance to line management on career development, learning resources, and performance management.
  • Work with business units to establish goals and ensure timely completion of midyear and year-end performance appraisals.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to promote a diverse slate of candidates and actively participate in interviewing and selection.
  • Onboard new hires, promotions, and transfers, and work with business units to review job descriptions and create job requisitions.
  • Partner with Global Mobility, employees, and potential employees on immigration support and identify training needs for business units.
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success and follow up to ensure compliance training is complete and objectives are met.
  • Audit data in HRIS to ensure accuracy and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably as a Generalist.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and US/MX employment laws.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish - excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Proven ability and passion to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Google, Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with Success Factors preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential a plus.
