Piovan S.P.A. is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing our machines, including providing training to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install our machines at customer sites, ensuring they are properly set up and functioning as expected.
- Servicing and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our machines, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Customer Training: Provide comprehensive training to customer representatives on the operation and maintenance of our machines, ensuring they have the necessary skills to maintain and utilize the equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze and diagnose machinery malfunctioning cases, identifying the root cause of the issue and implementing a solution.
- Remote Assistance: Provide remote support to customers, assisting them in resolving issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Service Intervention: Travel to customer sites to resolve issues, determining the best course of action to resolve the problem and implementing a solution.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in an engineering background, specifically in the plastic processing industry, with expertise in Injection moulding, Blow moulding, and Extrusion processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Driving Experience: Manual transmission driving experience.
- Technical Competences: Troubleshooting, customer operators training, customer advice, software competences, electrical and pneumatic knowledge, customer-oriented approach, and knowledge in polymer and auxiliary equipment for resins.
Location: Queretaro or nearby to Queretaro.
