About the Job:

The Senior IT Testing Manager is responsible for leading a team of professionals in managing complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives of the function. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills to negotiate internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production.
  • Manages multiple testing teams or a testing functional area.
  • Resolves complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact.
  • Collaborates with other testing areas, development teams, IT project managers, business partners, and external vendors suppliers.
  • Develops testing standards and ensures compliance.
  • Creates detailed plans for managing cross testing team dependencies.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience within a testing environment.
  • Senior to advanced level experience in an IT Testing role with commensurate experience in people management.
  • In-depth understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle processes.
  • Thorough understanding of end to end testing processes, Quality Center, and other testing related tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Proven team player skills with a track record of a leadership role delivering to tight deadlines and with high quality.

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
