We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Customer Care Specialist to join our team at Integon, a part of The Allstate Corporation. As a Claims Customer Care Specialist, you will serve as the initial contact for basic claims reporting, guiding callers to the appropriate party based on their needs and relevant policies or claims.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a connection with customers to gather and capture information, file a first notice of loss claim, and provide an overview of the basic claims process.
- Receive, screen, and route incoming telephone calls and electronic correspondence, and contact or receive contact from customers or other claim-related third parties to obtain and/or provide necessary file information.
- Follow established guidelines specific to each claim report or inquiry, including clear and accurate documentation, and assist customers with scheduling auto and/or property inspections, and a rental car as needed.
- Remain empathetic and engaged during customer interactions, using online resources, system-generated prompts, and claims knowledge to assist customers and set expectations for the next steps to resolve their claim.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Call Center experience (preferred)
- Insurance industry knowledge (preferred)
- Ability to empathize with customers, perform routine tasks of basic complexity under general supervision, and possess good organization skills with timely follow-up skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills, and fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
We offer a competitive salary of $24,000 MXN monthly before taxes, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes full paid training, nine days of Paid Time Off (PTO), and a range of other perks and discounts.
