Position Overview:
Nasdaq is seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Director of Marketing Technology and Automation within our innovative global digital marketing division.
This pivotal position offers the chance to lead our marketing automation and personalization initiatives, fundamentally reshaping how we utilize and integrate marketing systems to enhance client and prospect engagement across the organization. You will oversee the teams, tools, metrics, and processes vital for a cohesive approach to our marketing strategies, ensuring that all efforts are not only effective but also focused on improving user personalization and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and integrate the functions of the Marketing Automation & Operations and User Personalization teams.
- Manage and enhance the utilization of our Marketo system and associated marketing technology stack.
- Lead enterprise-wide marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Experience Operations to guarantee seamless integration of marketing activities into our analytics frameworks and customer data platforms.
- Serve as the primary contact for the marketing technology stack, providing guidance and leadership on technology utilization in marketing endeavors.
- Drive ongoing improvements in marketing processes and technologies to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing technology, particularly with automation platforms such as Marketo, Pardot, or Eloqua.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and integrating technology-focused marketing teams.
- Strong strategic insight with a proven history of managing large-scale marketing projects and technology implementations.
- Extensive knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and their integration with marketing automation tools.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively across various organizational levels.
- A solid grasp of data analytics and its application in marketing technology to inform decision-making and enhance customer engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing both international remote teams and in-person teams.
- A background in the financial sector, providing deeper insights into the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry.
- Familiarity with tools such as Knak in addition to Marketo, Pardot, and Salesforce.
- Experience in advanced customer experience operations and strategies.
