About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Help Desk Support Specialist to join our Corporate Information Systems team at Applanix. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
- Resolve hardware and software issues, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with other IS departments to ensure seamless support and efficient issue resolution
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on issue status and resolution
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance support services
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- 5+ years of experience in technical support or related field
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical skills, including Windows, macOS, Linux, and network troubleshooting
- Experience with Google Workspace for enterprise collaboration is a plus
