Job Summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Manager II to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the Food & Beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales targets by developing and executing effective sales strategies and building strong relationships with CxO-level clients.
  • Aggressively develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts to drive business growth.
  • Visit customers on a daily basis to highlight Waters solutions and help customers overcome their challenges.
  • Prepare business plans, territory plans, reports, and relevant product solution documents for customers.
  • Plan and execute customer demonstrations with collaboration from demo lab specialists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and drive business growth.
  • Manage the product mix and pricing to meet desired targets.
  • Adhere to Waters and customer health, safety, and environment requirements.
  • Utilize and update the Compass -Sales Force- on a daily basis to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Participate in additional sales-related projects and activities as designated by management.

Requirements

  • University degree in a scientific field such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry.
  • Minimum 3+ years of technical knowledge and practical solution selling experience in analytical chromatography or a related field.
  • Experience in a laboratory with a background in chromatography and mass spectrometry.
  • Exposure within the relevant field or industry.
  • Highly passionate individual with charisma, perseverance, and determination, plus the ability to work effectively in competitive sales situations.
  • Customer-focused with excellent listening skills.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex technical issues.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a positive sense of humor and ability to contribute as part of an integrated sales/service organization.
  • Good priority setting and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of computers and standard Windows-based packages.
  • Proficient English and local language skills.
  • A clean driving license and valid passport.
