Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager II to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the analytical chromatography market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring they achieve their goals with our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business plans, territory plans, and sales reports.
  • Plan and execute customer demonstrations, product training, and other sales-related activities.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer service and support.
  • Manage and prioritize sales activities, product mix, and pricing to meet desired targets.
  • Ensure compliance with Waters' and customers' health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Utilize our sales force automation tool to ensure accurate forecasting and sales performance tracking.
  • Participate in additional sales-related projects and activities as designated by management.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a scientific field, such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry.
  • Minimum 3+ years of technical knowledge and practical solution selling experience in analytical chromatography or a related field.
  • Experience in a laboratory setting, with a background in chromatography and mass spectrometry.
  • Exposure to the relevant field or industry.

Travel

  • A clean driving license and a valid passport are required.
  • This is a territory-based position with travel within your designated territory and occasional travel to other countries for meetings and training.
