Responsibilities:• Plan, coordinate, integrate, and measure results of departmental indicators
• Develop, implement, and improve procedures and methods for critical processes related to maintenance activities and the mold shop
• Review, define, and manage processes vital for determining and allocating human, technical, and material resources to support production processes and organizational objectives
• Develop, implement, and work on procedures and methods for preventive maintenance, predictive analysis, and problem-solving/equipment repair programs to maintain production equipment in efficient operating conditions
• Establish procedures and priorities to optimize spare parts inventory and reduce inventory costs to prevent obsolescence, emergency purchases, budget misuse, and loss of production capacity
• Assist production and product manufacturing and quality engineering in fine-tuning processes in various manufacturing processes according to production programs, validation activities of new products/tools/equipment/raw material suppliers, or engineering changes
• Assist manufacturing engineering in implementing process improvement changes; modifications to machinery, equipment, and production line layouts; installation of new or transfer equipment
• Identify, lead, assign, report, and coordinate resources for TPM and SMED projects in areas of opportunity throughout the operation
• Responsible for correct execution of safety procedures involved in different maintenance activities (Lockout/Tagout – LOTO)
• Supports and participates in various safety, quality, productivity/cost savings, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing/Kaizens/S's, etc., processes and programs

Minimum experience in Injection Molding, Extrusion, Blow Molding, Roto Molding, or similar experience in maintenance with plastic molding processes
High level of knowledge in the operation and application of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Electromechanical systems, Programmable Controllers/PLC's, Robots, and Automations
