Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in Mexico City. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in assisting our Sales team in reaching revenue goals by providing quality pre-sales technical support and presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sales team in developing business and technical strategies to win business.
  • Investigate prospect needs and develop strategies to win business.
  • Provide specialized technical support to prospects and customers using NETSCOUT's best practices.
  • Account responsibility for all lead technical activities, including building relationships with customers' IT silos.
  • Assist Sales teams in achieving financial targets via the sales process.
  • Deliver PoCs, manage competitive bakeoffs, and prepare for onsite presentations or remote presentations using WebEx or Meeting Place.
  • Work with users to explore scenarios in which the system is being used and discover new upsell opportunities.
  • Travel within the assigned territory and within the Region, carrying a laptop.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a pre-sales engineer, Network Engineer, Application Engineer, or in a pre-sales technical support role.
  • Proven pre-sales record of success and achievement for themselves and their team.
  • Strong Networking and Application background, along with a working knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems.
  • Cultural familiarity with and experience in doing business within the Region is critical.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA preferred.
  • Formal presentation training.
  • Experience responding to or creating RFI or RFPs.
  • Experience in having conducted or participated in security audits.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization, time management skills, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Self-motivated and constantly looking for ways to improve both product and process.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, you regularly will be required to talk, hear, and listen. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift company products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
