About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Basis Consultant to join our SAP Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery Technical Operations team. As a Senior Basis Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the 24x7 availability of SAP systems running on SAP ECS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, troubleshoot, and resolve alerts and incidents related to SAP systems running on SAP ECS.
  • Collaborate with other roles, including Major Incident Manager, Level 3 support, Managed Service Providers, Global Cloud Services, and Hyperscalers.
  • Streamline standard operating procedures through automation and provide technical guidance to other roles.

Requirements

  • Experience in SAP Basis NetWeaver (ABAP and Java Basis administration) and Non-NetWeaver technologies, including HANA DB.
  • Strong working knowledge in Linux and Windows operating system platforms.
  • At least 8 years of working experience with SAP Basis, with most of the years in IT Operations.
  • Problem-solving and analytical ability to tackle complex problems in IT operations.
  • Experience of handling operations for IT systems hosted in the cloud.
