We are seeking a talented Research and Development Specialist to join our team in LA. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for delivering RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance, and productivity projects.
About the Role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation and innovation of new snack products that meet consumer needs. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality research and development results that meet or exceed customer expectations;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement;
- Develop and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications;
- Conduct pilot plant and factory trials according to good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements;
- Write technical reports that summarize results and provide recommendations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A degree in Food Science, Science, or Engineering, ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods market;At least 3 years of experience in similar positions;Excellent analytical reasoning skills;Strong communication and interpersonal skills;Intermediate-advanced English language proficiency.What We Offer
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
