As a Site Planning Manager at Givaudan, you will be responsible for leading the material planning and internal-external production capacity planning for our manufacturing facility in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Your goal will be to ensure the materials availability and efficient production plans to guarantee the Inventory, WoFF, Service, Cost, Quality & EHS targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide main supply and production capacity inputs to different partners and help design the local Operations, Supply Chain & Planning strategies.
  • Oversee the design and execution of tactical and operational plans at site level on short, mid and long term to meet Operations & Supply Chain goals.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of inventory following corporate standards (SLOB / WoFF).
  • Control and report achievement of service level targets to Partners.
  • Work under the standards of quality, safety and industrial hygiene and good practices.
  • Analyze planning performance and improve the Indicators by using statistical models, best practices and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Develop annual budget and expense control, and accomplish the annual operating plan accordingly.
  • Be an escalation point for resolution of problems, complaints and prioritization issues.
  • Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes within the Site Planning team and validate related results.
  • Work with the local and regional Supply Chain & Operations management and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local talent pipeline.
  • Promote the development and promotion of Planning talents within and outside Supply Chain & Planning and Operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related discipline.
  • Master's Degree in a Technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience manufacturing operations with a background in supply chain planning, materials management, including exposure to business process redesign and systems implementations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in people management.
  • Affinity to systems and analytical tools.
  • Understanding of Forecasting (Statistical Models).
  • APICS Certification (Desired).
  • Advanced English, both oral and written.
