Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager II to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our Human Resources support staff, you will work closely with HR employees to carry out the daily activities of the Human Resource Office, including oversight of recruitment, total compensation, and training and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver HR services that meet or exceed the needs of employees and enable business success
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures
  • Manage the recruitment and hiring process, including interviewing and hiring HR employee team members
  • Administer and educate employees on benefits, including unemployment claims and workers' compensation
  • Develop and implement employee development programs, including training and cross-training initiatives
  • Maintain effective employee communication channels and resolve employee issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with legal and compliance practices, including maintaining employee files and conducting random drug testing

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; 3 years of experience in human resources, management operations, or a related field
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in human resources, business administration, or a related major; 1 year of experience in human resources, management operations, or a related field
