Distribution Channel Strategist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Distribution Channel Strategist to join our team at Red Bull. As a key member of our On Premise Distribution Executive team, you will play a critical role in developing annual business plans, driving Red Bull initiatives, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through a set group of Distribution Partners (DPs).
Main Responsibilities:
- Communicate strategic priorities to DPs and drive key RB initiatives
- Implement merchandising standards and develop systems to track KPI execution
- Monitor sales/POS progress against business plans and coach DPs to achieve excellence in the On Premise Channel
Key Account Programs and Business Intelligence:
- Coordinate meetings with DPs to explain and implement Red Bull business strategies and initiatives
- Develop communication processes to ensure proper alignment and understanding of strategies and goals
- Maintain strong working knowledge of all relevant Red Bull systems and hold DPs accountable for data submission into RB systems
Distributor Structure and Accountability Expert:
- Have a thorough working knowledge of distributors internal systems and structure
- Understand distributor's hierarchy and have relationships from the top down
- Be knowledgeable on reps and area manager's pay structure in order to program and hold accountable
Additional Responsibilities:
- Share and enforce guidelines with regards to RB's inventory policy
- Provide on-going feedback relative to DP performance against objectives and KPIs
- Develop expertise with regards to product competition and distributor competition in respective areas
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in business administration, economy, engineering, marketing
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in consumer goods industry (beverage preferred), in key account or indirect channel experience
- Intermediate English
Estimated Salary Range:$60,000 - $90,000 per year
