Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to lead the strategic development and tactical implementation of Sales and Marketing initiatives for the Oncology brand in Mexico. This involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, optimize resource utilization, and ensure compliance with AbbVie's business code of conduct and applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy, aligning with the Global Brand Team's vision and objectives.
  • Lead and coach a high-performing Sales Team, setting sales targets, and implementing incentive schemes to drive sales performance.
  • Manage the allocated Brand P&L, ensuring financial planning and budgeting align with business objectives.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, driving innovation and growth in the Oncology market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Area and Global functions, to ensure seamless integration of global and area strategy into local brand planning.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies, ensuring a continuous pipeline of high-performing talent in Sales and Marketing.
  • Collaborate with the Affiliate Management Team to drive business results and achieve AbbVie's goals.
  • Model AbbVie's WW behavior, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of success in marketing and sales leadership, with a strong background in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Relevant Oncology experience and knowledge of the healthcare environment.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and coaching skills, with a proven ability to develop and manage high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of finance principles and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
