Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vendor Management Support Specialist to join our team at Westcon Mexico, S.A. de C.V.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our vendor management team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all vendor partner orders, and monitoring returns status daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all Vendor Partner orders (20%).
  2. Understands Returns process and guidelines and monitors returns status
  3. Monitors Returns status daily (20%).
  4. Manages all promotions ensuring budget availability and correct authorizations.
  5. Monitors expiration dates.
  6. Timely set-up and accuracy of new part numbers (20%).
  7. Provides responsive, courteous support to sales, vendor partners and other internal departments.
  8. Works collaboratively with Purchasing to monitor purchase/pricing strategies for products.
  9. May manage smaller product lines and is accountable for sales growth and attainment of profit goals.
  10. Monitor shared email box (20%).
  11. Manage SKU Setup & Price Change Process (20%).
  12. Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting as needed
  13. Assist with Vendor Portal Updates
  14. Assist with implementing Sales Incentives & Engagements

Experience:

No prior experience necessary.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

High School Graduate required.

Working Conditions:

Classroom environment.

Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.

Able to use common office equipment.

Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.

Possesses strong data entry skills.

Able to converse and write effectively in English and Spanish.
