Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vendor Management Coordinator to join our team at Westcon Mexico, S.A. de C.V.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks related to vendor lines, including material master maintenance, promotion pricing, invoicing, returns, and purchase orders.

This role requires strong communication skills to work closely with sales counterparts on operational aspects of the sales cycle.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all Vendor Partner orders (20%).
  2. Understand Returns process and guidelines and monitor returns status.
  3. Monitor Returns status daily (20%).
  4. Manage all promotions ensuring budget availability and correct authorizations.
  5. Monitor expiration dates.
  6. Timely set-up and accuracy of new part numbers (20%).
  7. Provide responsive, courteous support to sales, vendor partners, and other internal departments.
  8. Work collaboratively with Purchasing to monitor purchase/pricing strategies for products.
  9. May manage smaller product lines and is accountable for sales growth and attainment of profit goals.
  10. Monitor shared email box (20%).
  11. Manage SKU Setup & Price Change Process (20%).
  12. Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting as needed.
  13. Assist with Vendor Portal Updates.
  14. Assist with implementing Sales Incentives & Engagements.
Requirements:
  • No prior experience necessary.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • High School Graduate required.
  • Able to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Able to use common office equipment.
  • Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
  • Possesses strong data entry skills.
  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and Spanish.
  • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.
  • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.
  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Able to be immobile for long extended periods.
  • Ability to transport specified weight.

Salary: Approximately $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
