Key Responsibilities:- Assess the quality of assigned portfolios, identifying emerging risks and evaluating their impact on the business.
- Review and assess the effectiveness of credit risk processes and standards, promoting leading practices and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Provide autonomous assessments of risk ratings and classifications, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness.
- Ensure that corrective action plans are in place, monitored, and validated, addressing concerns resulting from fundamental credit risk reviews or business monitoring.
- Maintain high-quality fundamental credit risk documents, including credit assessment documents and fundamental credit review reports.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in credit risk management or a related field.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to filter, prioritize, and validate complex material from multiple sources.
- Wide latitude and discretion in decision-making, with a focus on driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
