Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring Amazon's treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with our core business values and objectives. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in employee and labor relations, subject matter knowledge, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze feedback from associates and managers to identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner with site leadership and HR to develop and implement strategies to enhance the associate experience.
  • Analyze and audit people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations.
  • Prepare assessment reports for senior leadership review.
  • Conduct employee relations and vulnerability assessment programs.

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years direct experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or labor/employment law.
  • Experience in retail/manufacturing/distribution/call center environments with hourly employee populations.
  • Experience in Federal Labor Law.
  • Technically proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint.
  • English & Spanish proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree, JD, or other specialized training in labor/employee relations.
  • Experience working in unionized settings.
  • Experience in designing and delivering successful training programs.
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
  • Highly analytical thinker and problem solver.
