Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to join our Corporate Program Management Office (CPMO) at Zendesk, Inc. to drive business transformation programs that align with our company strategy.

This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and leaders to execute transformation projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will bring structure and expertise to managing complex programs from inception to delivery, leveraging their experience in business operations, process design, and program management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to translate corporate strategies into executable programs and initiatives, driving cross-functional teams to deliver on objectives.
  • Lead company-wide programs, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder engagement to meet deadlines.
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes, working with teams to minimize disruption and maximize efficiency.
  • Establish effective communication infrastructure for program execution and executive-level engagement.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, tracking key milestones from program inception to retrospective.
  • Cultivate a culture of openness and transparency to ensure program success.
  • Lead by influence, building trust across the organization and positively impacting program team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of driving large-scale, complex programs with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Program Manager role.
  • Experience working with operations teams and managing programs that impact large employee groups.
  • Demonstrated success working across diverse teams and geographies, with the ability to synthesize competing priorities.
  • Serves as a valuable business partner, bringing a diverse skill set that spans business operations, process design, and program management.
  • Strong collaboration, planning, influencing, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to tailor approach to meet the needs of Zendesk teams and follow Corporate PMO methodology and best practices.
  • Experience with Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence), Smartsheet, and/or process mapping software (Lucidchart) a plus.
  • PMP and/or Prosci Change Management certifications a plus.
