**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Safety Reporting Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and tracking expedited and periodic safety reports, collaborating with management to produce project metrics, and participating in projects related to safety reporting.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Receive, prepare, and submit safety reports to relevant parties, ensuring timely compliance with regulatory requirements and country legislation.
- Assist in generating project metrics and alert management to any quality or timeline issues.
- Participate in project teams, potentially leading small to moderate scope projects, provide training, and support to colleagues as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, maintaining safety reporting systems, and providing information to various departments.
- Collaborate with other departments on safety reporting tasks and client account setup.
- Participate in audits as required and perform testing activities when necessary.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant formal academic/vocational qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with a solid grasp of safety database functionality
- Knowledge of procedural documents and global safety reporting requirements (including FDA regulations)
- Ability to multitask while delivering high-quality results
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with an emphasis on careful and meticulous work
- Capacity to handle sensitive information effectively
- Effective interaction with all levels of the organization
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

**Work Environment/Requirements:**

- Ability to communicate, receive, and understand information from diverse groups of people in a comprehensible manner
- Capable of working upright and stationary for typical working hours
- Proficient in using standard office equipment and technology
- Ability to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing multiple projects or activities

**Estimated Salary Range:** $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
