Job Summary

The Sales Promoter will be responsible for promoting Kohler Co.'s plumbing products in designated retail stores, communicating brand credentials to end consumers, and ensuring sales target achievement. The ideal candidate will perform activities such as product promotion, training to in-store sales associates, product display supervision, and sharing findings with Channel Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Kohler Co.'s plumbing products in accordance with company goals and guidance to end consumers.
  • Assist in resolving specific questions of technical performance and ease the purchase decision for customers.
  • Train in-store sales associates through monthly store visits within assigned geographic territories.
  • Report competitor's activities on the sales floor, including product launches, marketing communications, and competitor's pricing.
  • Provide a report of display status, inventory status, and end consumers' pricing programs in territory according to established company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in direct sales to end customers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels of management and outside contacts.
  • Proficiency in Mid Office software, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to build reports and presentations.
