Job Summary

As a Senior Manager in Trade Surveillance Operations, you will be responsible for implementing organization strategies through effective direction and management of resources. You will be accountable for business strategies, functional or operational areas, processes, or programs. This role requires managing and developing a team of people, setting direction, and deploying resources on varying projects. You will also participate in organization-wide projects and provide guidance and expertise on an as-needed basis.

This position is responsible for providing efficient and high-quality client services to financial institutions. You will provide pre-sales and post-sales service to clients and be responsible for continuing development and improvement of the client services. The overall objective is to shorten the client response time and increase service quality.

This role requires excellent verbal, written, and client-facing communication skills. You must have perfect written and verbal communication skills in English. Business domain knowledge with an interest and knowledge of capital markets and trading compliance is also required. SaaS knowledge is an advantage.

Nasdaq is currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to lead a team of Functional Analysts and Data Analysts. Nasdaq's Trade Surveillance service powers surveillance and compliance for over 150 market participants across 65 markets globally. Scalable to millions of transactions and flexible to manage several outstanding data sources, NTS Surveillance holistically examines scenarios across multiple venues and asset classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement organization's strategies through effective direction and management of resources, while being accountable for business strategies, functional or operational areas, processes, or programs.
  • Managing and developing a team of people, setting direction, and deploying resources on varying projects, participating in organization-wide projects, while providing guidance and expertise on an as-needed basis.
  • Providing new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions, and complaints.
  • Ensuring that good customer relations are maintained, and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly and effectively, in accordance with consumer laws.
  • Developing organization-wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers.
Requirements
  • MBA, MSc or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior management experience in the fintech/IT industry for at least 5 years.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Perfect written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Business domain knowledge with an interest and knowledge of capital markets and trading compliance. SaaS knowledge is an advantage.
  • Experience with working directly with customers in a global environment.
