About the Role:
The Editorial Team Supervisor will be responsible for guiding our editorial staff, ensuring effective daily operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will serve as the primary contact for team members. Your proactive approach will be essential in maintaining seamless team dynamics and collaboration. Leading by example, you will inspire the editorial team to meet and exceed business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Editorial Manager in organizing workflow and scheduling personnel efficiently, focusing on cost-effectiveness, timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Oversee team performance through regular one-on-ones, quarterly evaluations, and annual reviews, providing recognition and constructive feedback.
  • Monitor workload requirements and communicate any changes in deadlines to both management and staff.
  • Ensure quality and coverage standards are upheld within the content database.
  • Address and resolve editorial discrepancies reported by clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance quality and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create resources, establish processes, and define best practices for research.
  • Identify new tools to support the expanding editorial group and database coverage expectations.
  • Execute integration and project activities as directed by management.
  • Coordinate training for new hires and refresh existing team members' skills.
  • Maintain the content operations knowledge database, ensuring all editorial documentation is current and that changes to software, processes, or standards are recorded.
  • Perform editorial tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in team management.
  • Experience collaborating with global stakeholders and clients.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results within deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide informed recommendations to management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
