We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Category Manager to lead our Contract Manufacturing category strategy. As a key member of our Global Strategic Sourcing team, you will be responsible for managing global category spend and developing a short and long-term strategy to ensure operational excellence and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage global category spend for approximately $100-$150M.
- Develop and implement a category strategy that optimizes affordability, availability, agility, and innovation.
- Establish a cross-functional network and foster collaboration with suppliers, the wider supply chain organization, engineering, quality, and product management.
- Own vendor performance data and report metrics to leadership.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of global supply markets, competitors, and product innovations.
- Build and develop a team of Contract Manufacturing experts to drive global performance.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10+ years experience in sourcing environment and familiarity with industrial operations.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, finance, or business.
- MBA or professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM).
- Strategic sourcing experience in Contract Manufacturing is ideal.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Experience with strategic sourcing and lean tools.
- Digital dexterity and ability to leverage data.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain strategy (development and execution) and category specific experience.
- Independently driven problem solver with appetite to address complex challenges in a fast-moving environment.
- Proven track record of successful leadership, negotiation, and strategic communication.
- Strong business acumen and experience collaborating across various levels within a diverse, global organization.
