Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Oracle Hong Kong. As a key member of our Support organization, you will be responsible for delivering post-sales support and solutions to our customers while serving as an advocate for their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services
  • Facilitate customer relationships with Support and provide advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees
  • Participate in rotational support coverage for our customers on public holidays and weekends as per business needs
Requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of ERP product(s), specifically Financials
  • EBS Financials experience preferred; EBS General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets experience are helpful
  • Functional/Technical background in assigned product area (Financials) and exposure to associated systems and software
  • Technical skills in RDBMS, SQL, PL SQL, XML, Java, J2EE, and Oracle ADF, SOA, and Web Services
  • Ability to read and decipher software Log and Trace files, Web Server Optimization, Server configuration
  • Ability to work an adjusted work week to ensure we have coverage for our customers on weekends as per business needs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the accounting lifecycle with knowledge of common enterprise structures setup, journal processing, financial reporting, interfaces, period close processes and activities, and Financial Reporting Workspace
  • Support or consulting experience with Oracle Financials or other ERP Financial solutions
  • Ability to participate in rotational support coverage for our customers on public holidays and weekends as per business needs
