About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Engineering Director to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our technology organization, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our business by leading our support engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and vision for our support engineering organization, ensuring that we have the right skills and expertise to deliver high-quality support to our customers.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of support engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to help them grow in their careers.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management, to ensure that our support engineering efforts are aligned with business objectives.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and executive leadership.
About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled support engineering leader who has a proven track record of success in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have:

Strong Technical Skills: A deep understanding of software development, testing, and deployment processes, as well as experience with cloud-based technologies.Leadership Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience leading a team of support engineers, with a proven track record of success in managing and developing high-performing teams.Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business operations, including financial management, customer satisfaction, and process improvement.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.About Amazon
