- Technology Implementation: Implement best-in-class WMS & TMS technology, handhelds, MHE, and other technology assets suitable to the scope and size of the operations and business requirements.
- Distribution Network Strategy: Partner with Enterprise Logistics to develop and implement a distribution network strategy, including shared distribution center quantities, locations, and design.
- Lean Processes: Implement and deploy Lean processes in end-to-end Integrated Supply Chain processes, with a focus on transportation and distribution.
- Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence and best practices across the network, increasing productivity by 5% per year.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and execute quality improvement plans for logistics, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in transportation, warehousing, and import/export compliance management.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading transportation operations and optimizing transportation practices.
- Lean Enterprise: Training in Lean enterprise principles, methodologies, and behaviors.
- Logistics Systems: Solid understanding of Transportation & Warehouse Management Systems.
- Logistics Partnerships: Experience partnering with and leading logistics service providers on daily execution.
- Network Analysis: Knowledge and understanding of network analysis tools.
- Process Management: Skill in process management, planning, and change management.
- Problem-Solving: Proven skill in identifying root causes of problems/issues and developing recommendations for resolution.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with people at all levels within the organization and outside the organization.
