Sales Engineer for Enterprise Networks

Corning Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in the Enterprise Networks division. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for maximizing sales of all Corning Optical Communications (COC) products in your assigned accounts, while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct sales calls to implement account strategies in conjunction with the account team to support COC business objectives.
- Build a solid relationship with assigned accounts and distributors in Mexico.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding COC products and their applications to customer networks.
- Act in a consultative role to the customer to secure easy ordering, receiving, installing, using, and maintaining COC products.
- Provide weekly activity report summaries and sales call reports to the team.
- Maintain updated forecast information of opportunities registered in SFDC.
- Close contact and quarterly revisions with distributors.
- Coordinate customer care representative activities in support of account needs.
- Report customer problems to the supervisor and ensure entry into the customer feedback database.
- Participate in industry trade shows, customer product showcases, and demonstrations.
- BS/BA degree, technical preferred (Telecommunications Engineering or related).
- Advanced degrees in other disciplines can be an important differentiator.
- Strong knowledge of customers and commercial practices, at least 2-4 years of experience in commercial sales role.
- Knowledge of Telecommunication networks (EN).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Willingness to travel (Mexican territory and international as required).
