Job Overview
Objective:
The Sales Account Specialist is responsible for cultivating strong relationships with clients of Hitachi Energy Mexico. This role involves executing strategic planning to secure and enhance Hitachi's business presence within the designated market segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzes the primary business factors influencing the client's operations and assesses their implications for Hitachi Energy.
- Contributes to the formulation of sales strategies tailored to the account by understanding the client's current operations and future objectives.
- Oversees the creation and execution of the account strategy and growth initiatives.
- Establishes and proposes sales objectives for the account, ensuring these targets are met through a systematic follow-up process across various divisions and regions.
- Markets products, solutions, and services to clients, concentrating on achieving volume, mix, and profitability goals while representing the full range of Hitachi Energy offerings.
- Enhances value for both the client and Hitachi by promoting a cohesive sales strategy.
- Monitors competitive activities related to the account and develops suitable response strategies.
- Provides insights on market pricing trends.
- Facilitates the application of standardized marketing and sales methodologies and tools (such as Salesforce, account plans, etc.) for the account.
- Addresses challenges and ensures high-quality service delivery to clients.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in comparable positions.
- Proven experience in the sales of electrical equipment and machinery.
- Familiarity with renewable energy concepts.
- Background in sales related to power generation, transmission, and distribution projects.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
