Job Summary

This entry-level position will focus on developing client relationships and gaining foundation-level product knowledge to support the existing sales and/or service teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide input to client contact plans to communicate product launches.
  • Act as the first point of contact for client queries and basic issues, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Provide feedback on clients' needs during sales meetings.
  • Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting, using standard materials to support product information and recording client information.
  • Maintain regular, consistent contact with clients to generate a positive client experience.
  • Listen actively and demonstrate objectivity in resolving client issues.
  • Identify new business opportunities and pass them to the Sales team.
  • Understand the client's business and relevant market developments.
  • Regularly challenge peers or superiors when necessary, discussing consequences and offering alternative solutions.
  • Deliver on promises, taking accountability when things go wrong and seeking ways to improve.
  • Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Take reasonable care of self and others in the workplace, complying with legislative requirements and IMdex Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) management system policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the identification of risks and compliance requirements relevant to the scope of work.

Requirements

  • Completion of Secondary education level.
  • Preferred: University degree, mechanic-electronic engineer / Electrical Engineer.
  • Knowledge of drilling fluids and downhole navigation tools.
  • Experience as a driller/supervisor is preferred.
  • English language proficiency at an intermediate level.
  • Interest in the mining or technology services industry.
  • Interest in a sales or service position and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.

Desirable

  • University degree, mechanic-electronic engineer / Electrical Engineer.
  • Experience with sales software or technology.
  • Experience working with customers in a professional manner.
