Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist I to join our team at Resideo. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank accounts and post information to general or subsidiary ledgers
  • Process payments and manage monthly and quarterly closing
  • Manage vendor reconciliation and process supplier invoices
  • Follow up with customers to achieve payment goals
  • Drive statutory payments per legal requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or related field
  • Experience in a similar position required
  • SAP knowledge is advantageous
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office - Word, Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some experience in tax, CPA, and advanced degree with an emphasis in taxation
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good organization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes within the organization
  • Ability to distinguish priorities and complete work within SLA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of US international tax law and regulations
  • US GAAP Financial Accounting/ASC 740 knowledge
  • Understanding tax implications of multi-national company
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex solutions without supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of people management
