Job Summary: Somewhere is seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to join their team. As a key member of the organization, the Finance Director will be responsible for ensuring the financial health and stability of the company.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models to project future performance, conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making, and prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance: Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts, ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Investment Analysis and Cost-Benefit Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities and perform cost-benefit analyses to support business planning and decision-making.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning and analysis, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure the financial health and stability of the company.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, advanced knowledge of Excel and financial analysis tools, experience with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Quickbooks), and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.
