About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Production Planning Consultant to join our team at Hashmap. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end SAP implementations in the manufacturing space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements gathering, project planning, and management
  • Solution design, configuration, and customization of SAP products
  • Opportunities management and bid management
  • Technical analysis and documentation of integrated systems
  • Providing expert advice on SAP functionality, change management, and other advisory services
  • Suggesting solutions to customers based on best practices
  • Defining detailed blueprints for development requirements
  • Providing business and functional support to the SAP module
  • Providing technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams
  • Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs
  • Assessing impact and gaps in current business processes and configuration for the SAP module and providing alternatives and recommendations on the delta design
  • Developing functional and technical specifications for the delta design and for tools to support the SAP implementation
  • Implementing part or all of the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design
  • Executing the necessary system configuration to enable the SAP implementation
  • Leading testing and defect resolution in the context of SAP implementation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • SAP PP, QM, Manufacturing with background
  • High-level technical expertise within SAP Production Planning
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end SAP implementations in the logistics space
  • Experienced in Production Planning, Discrete, Process, Repetitive Manufacturing, MTS, MTO, MRP Live, Long Term Planning, S&OP, and Demand Management
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC environment
  • Experience in leading a functional team in an end-to-end implementation project
  • Coordinate and develop, configure, and unit test all solution objects
  • Collaborate on the documentation of test scenarios and scripts with Client Process Leads and Key Users
  • Provide guidance for the integration activities
  • Develop the data conversion template and formalize with the business users for the usage
  • Drive Data Migration workshops and finalize the approach
  • Provide support for data migration and validation activities during mock conversion and go live
  • Provide support in defect resolution for SAP functional issues
  • Impart Training to the Process Leads and Key Users

  • Fully bilingual: English and Spanish
